These events are Threat detected, Suspicious item detected, potentially unwanted Program, Scan complete, automatic update and Firewall query. You can uncheck any of them or all as per your need or requirement.

Turn off popups:
This is something in which you got introduce to some other products by the Avast. If you want to disable such things for you then you can also do that from your side. To make it disable, open the avast user interface and go to Settings > General. Scroll down a bit, and you'll find a heading called Popups. When you make it disable then you will stop receiving such popups from Avast. As it is not recommended by Avast but you can do it if you want to do so.
